Returns Policy
1. Refund Policy
If you are eligible for a refund, we will process it using the original payment method. The refund amount will correspond to the total paid for the specific order or a portion thereof, depending on the nature of the issue. Please ensure we have your current payment details to avoid delays. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to process.
2. Warranty
All products supplied by EcoFriendly Plus Store come with a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery (unless otherwise stated and excluding consumables). This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Please note, the warranty does not cover defects arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, or use otherwise than in accordance with the intended purpose. Consumable items (e.g., batteries) are covered for physical defects as per the terms above but are not covered for replacement during ‘normal’ use.
2.1. Faulty Items
If you receive goods that are faulty or incomplete upon arrival, you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt in writing (via post, e-mail, or our Contact Us page).
We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Consumable items, such as non-rechargeable batteries, will be replaced if found to be inoperative on delivery; however, they are not covered for replacement during ‘normal’ use.
For items valued at €15 or less (excluding silver jewelry items), we request photographic evidence of any visible faults instead of a return. Damaged silver jewelry items should be returned to us as a 2nd Class large letter; please refer to our Returns Procedure below.
The goods should be returned to us following our Returns Procedure.
We will inspect products returned as faulty. If the fault is verified, we will replace the item within 5 working days at no additional cost to you and reimburse any reasonable carriage costs incurred by the return. If we are unable to replace the item (e.g., due to discontinuation), you will be offered a choice of a substitute alternative product or a refund for the faulty item.
For items over €15, please contact us via email at [email protected], describing the type and extent of the fault, and we will advise you on how to proceed.
Please do not place duplicate orders for replacement of damaged/faulty goods.
For heavy, courier-delivered items valued over €15 with visible faults that we request to be returned, we can, upon request, dispatch a replacement item and arrange a courier collection of the damaged item simultaneously (please note this is only available if the recipient is available to hand the faulty goods to the courier).
If the goods you have returned are found not to be faulty, you will be notified in writing. You will receive a refund or an offer of a replacement for the original goods; however, we will ask you to cover the delivery charges, and no return delivery charges will be refunded.
2.2. Items Damaged on Arrival
In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged product, please notify us within 72 hours of receipt. We may request photographic evidence of the damage to expedite the process. Follow our Returns Procedure for returning the damaged goods.
Upon receipt and verification of the damaged item, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including reasonable return carriage costs.
3. Returns Procedure
To return an item, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Notify us in writing within 72 hours of receipt, detailing the issue and whether you prefer a refund or replacement.
Return Authorization: Await our response with return authorization and instructions.
Packaging: Securely package the item to prevent damage during transit. Include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
Shipping: Use a trackable shipping method to return the item to the address provided in the return authorization. Retain proof of postage.
Inspection and Resolution: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item and process your refund or replacement as per our policy.
